EuroBasket Women 2015 promises to be a fascinating battle for the Great Britain senior women as they bid to realise their Olympic 2016 dream.
November has been a good month for British Basketball. With funding confirmed from Sport England for the next two years and Basketball Wales formally committing its long term future to British Basketball, alongside Basketball England and Basketball Scotland, there is a lot to be positive about. Behind the scenes, the British Basketball Federation has been working to streamline and consolidate into a single tiered governance structure.
The new "British Basketball" will be responsible for delivering world class basketball programmes underpinned by a sustainable financial model and working in collaboration with the Home Nation Basketball Associations to drive improvement in the sport throughout Great Britain.
We are now seeking an Independent Chair and three Independent Directors to help lead the sport to the next level.
