Leedham grabbed 11 points for her Australian side in the WNBL final clash but it wasn't enough to secure the title.
The Boomers, led by Standard Life GB women's head coach, Tom Maher had a good early start but the Rangers quickly got into action with a 17-4 run to close out the first quarter with an eight point lead.
The start of the second quarter saw Dandenong fiercely attacking the basket and after only three minutes they were out in front 31-15. Leedham then grabbed two consecutive three-pointers to bring the lead back to within 11 points. Her Bulleen team mates Liz Cambage and Sam Richards both connected late in the half to see Bulleen within eight points heading into the locker room.
Out of the half Bulleen got within four points, with Leedham getting some more threes. Dandenong then went on a run to take a 16 point lead that ultimately won them the championship.
In the fourth quarter, Tom Maher called a final time-out to inspire his Boomers but it wasnt enough and Dandenong ran away with the game late to secure the 24-point win.
