England Basketball: Performance Coach Co-ordinators announced

The new role was announced in March as part of a new coaching framework to help develop the talent pathway. The position description is listed on the Performance Pathway section of the website.

The new positions are seen as part of the solution to help the performance player and coach agenda for England Basketball. The PCC will greatly assist and support regional coaches to coach effectively to the British Basketball Areas of Emphasis: Guidelines for Coaches. These new positions will also aid player and coach development over the next two years.

Head of Performance Warwick Cann commented on the announcement: "It's pleasing that we have experienced and committed coaches prepared to volunteer by sharing their experiences. Better coordination leads to better efficiency. I think the PCC will assist the Regional Management Committee with the coaching and player development agenda in their respective regions and certainly provide a pipeline for myself and to each and all the regional coaches who have an important role in our T16 player development."
