Rishi Persad will present the Men's match live from Manchester with commentary for both matches from the BBC's Olympic basketball team Mike Carlson and John Amaechi.
This will be the first time viewers in the UK will have had the chance to see how the British teams, with the Men led by Chicago Bulls star Luol Deng, match up against their American counterparts. The Olympic basketball tournament begins on 28 July.
The USA Men and Women will be hot favourites going into the Olympics, with both teams reigning Olympic champions and the Men featuring a host of NBA superstars such as Lebron James, Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant.

For the first time the BBC will be providing live coverage of every Olympic Sport from every venue throughout the day. This will amount to around 2,500 hours of live Olympic sporting action, over 1,000 hours more than Beijing 2008.
