The Standard Life GB under-20 men defeated Denmark 71-60 in their European Division B Championship clash on Saturday night in Sofia.
This result now ensures GB's qualification with two games left in the group. Devon van Oostrum led the British charge with 18 points, supported by 17 points from Ali Fraser.
GB scored the first five points of the quarter as they started much differently to the previous two encounters. GB enjoyed an 18-12 scoreline after the first quarter.
Denmark hit back in the second, as GB were guilty of bad passing and lacked defence, but they still led 34-32 at the half.
GB enjoyed a better third quarter though, as they went into the fourth quarter up 50-44 despite trailing 42-36 at one point, GB showed great character to take back the lead.
The fourth quarter has proven to be GB's strong point so far in this tournament and it proved so again, as they picked up the pace to score easy baskets and pick up the win.
Great Britain face Belarus in their final Group C game on Sunday afternoon.
