EuroBasket Women 2013 Draw

The Standard Life GB women were drawn in Group C alongside Olympic silver medalists, France. GB are also set to face Serbia and Latvia for their First Round Games at the EuroBasket Women, a tournament that will serve as a qualifying event for the 2014 FIBA World Championship for Women in Turkey.

At the London 2012 Olympic Games, GB fell to France in the Preliminary Round in an overtime thriller when Celine Dumerc hit a long three-pointer at the buzzer. Tom Maher's side will now look for their revenge on French soil.

EuroBasket Women 2013 will take place from 15 to 30 June 2013. Round 1 games will be played in Trelaze and Vannes, with the action then moving on to Lille and Vendespace for Round 2. The Final Round (Quarter-Finals onwards) will be hosted by the city of Orchie.
