But the win was short lived and despite 27 points in 42 minutes from Deng, it couldn't prevent a fourth period collapse as they went down 97-91 at home against Oklahoma City Thunder the following Thursday.
Two days later it was time to face the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Bulls grabbed an 87-80 victory. Deng had a quieter night offensively, finishing with 16 points in 41 minutes.
Monday night saw the Bulls host Boston Celtics, and although Deng led his side again with his best performance so far with 26 points and 11 rebounds, it wasn't enough to prevent a 101-95 loss.
The Bulls are now joint sixth in the Eastern Conference and with that run of home games now over they travel to Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, LA Clippers on Saturday and Portland on Sunday when Deng will face up to his Standard Life GB team-mate, Joel Freeland.
The Trail Blazers have had a run of losses in the last week but Monday's game against Atlanta Hawks saw Freeland get his most court time so far with 12 minutes on the floor.
The Trailblazers face Sacramento tonight before Freeland will host former GB coach Chris Finch and the Houston Rockets on Friday and Deng's Bulls two days later.
