The following day Deng's side came up against Joel Freeland's Portland Trail Blazers. Although the two GB stars were set to go head to head, Freeland did not play as he's currently on Portland's inactive list, but his side beat the Bulls 102-94.
Deng played 40 minutes against his GB team mates side and grabbed 14 points but it wasn't enough to defeat the Blazers.
This Wednesday saw Deng up against another GB rival, this time in the form of Standard Life GB men's head coach from this summer, Chris Finch and the Houston Rockets. Deng put in another long stint on court, playing 42 minutes and sinking 19 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
The Bulls will be looking to end their first three-game losing streak in the regular season since a 10-game slide Feb. 27-March 19 of 2010 this weekend when they take on Milwaukee on Saturday and again on Monday.
Meanwhile, Freeland's side Portland Trail Blazers did get a win against Chris Finch's Rockets on Friday 16th November. The Blazers defeated Houston 119-117 in a close match up. Freeland did not play in the game which saw three Blazers score at least 27 points.
Following the win against the Bulls on Sunday, Portland went on to lose 87-114 against the Pheonix Suns on Wednesday. Portland play Minnesota tonight at home before going on the road on Sunday to Brooklyn.
