Performance Analysts Coach
British Basketball is also seeking expressions of interest for a Performance Analyst Coach position with each of the GB U20 Men's and Women's team for the 2013 season.
Suitable candidates for the position will be a person who can coach and understand basketball with very good competencies and/or qualifications in vision performance analysis.
The position is part of a team and supports the Head Coach and the team programme to achieve its goals and objectives.
The Performance Analyst Coach works closely with the coaching team and reports to the team Head Coach. The suitable candidate must be able to work with the coaching staff and perform well under pressure in very short timelines. The Performance Analyst Coach will work with sports code software to prepare scouting reports, team and individual performance analysis reports as directed by the Head Coach.
The successful candidate will be familiar with video capture, transfer and editing. They will have a very good understanding of technology, specifically apple computers and will be energetic, enthusiastic, industrious and able to work independently as well as a member of a team. The successful candidate is also expected to maintain vision files for player reports and performance review which will be used post championship by the Head of Performance.
