It is the eleventh year in a row that the game has been hosted at the NIA but the 2013 Cup Final is one of the most eagerly-anticipated in recent BBL years as this season's final will feature GB Captain Drew Sullivan as well as the most successful coach in BBL history, Fabulous Flournoy of the Newcastle Eagles.
Last season the Newcastle Eagles won the Cup, defeating the UCP Marjon Plymouth Raiders who they beat in this years Cup semi finals, 115-94 in front of a packed National Indoor Arena.

As the pre-cursor to the main event, there will be a men's international basketball event, as England take on Ireland.
Returning in 2013 will also be the Kickz.co.uk BBL Slam Dunk Contest trophy, where top slam dunkers from all over the country battle it out to be crowned BBL Dunk Champion.
