UK based basketball website, Hoopsfix.com has started an e-petition to support the appeal being made by British Basketball against the UK Sport funding cuts.
With the announcement made on December 18th 2012 by UK Sport that British Basketball would receive no funding for the four year cycle in the run up to the Rio 2016 games, Hoopsfix and supporters of the sport in the UK are calling on the government to get UK Sport to reconsider their cut to British Basketball's funding and make basketball a funded sport again.
