The sides were even throughout the first period, with neither teams managing to break away and ultimately they finished the quarter all square with 16 apiece. A 7-2 tear put the Riders ahead 32-28 at halftime and another 13-2 burst in the third put Leicester well ahead. Starting the final stanza 10 points behind at 52-42, the Sharks' efforts to get back in the game didn't come to fruition as they were unable to close the gap and finally succumbed to the strong Riders team.
Sullivan and the Riders are back in action on Saturday against the Manchester Giants at home.
