GB's Fagbenle and her Harvard team mates helped the Crimson finish the year unbeaten at home, the first perfect season at Lavietes Pavilion since 1997-98, and to their seventh longest home winning streak in the nation with 14 straight victories dating back to last year.
Fagbenle earned a total of 12 Ivy League weekly awards throughout the season, including a record 10 rookie of the week accolades.
She ranked first in the conference in field goal percentage (57.0), third in rebounding (7.8), fourth in blocked shots (1.3) and ninth in scoring (12.3). Her seven double-doubles are the most by a Harvard player since 2009-10 as she has reached double-figures in scoring 19 times and in rebounding nine times. Fagbenle has led the team in rebounding a total of 17 times throughout the year, including 14 of the last 19 outings.
Not only did Fagbnele pick up accolades, but Harvard women's basketball team was rewarded for its 20-win season with three All-Ivy selections last week, including a pair of first team recipients.
Fagbenle's teammates, Christine Clark and Victoria Lippert were each named to the first team while Fagbenle was picked for Ivy League Rookie of the Year and was also named to the second team.
