Club career:

Uppsala, Sweden (2013), Kyiv, Ukraine (2012-13), Apollon Limassol, Cyprus (2011-12), Maroussi, Greece (2011). Rider University, USA (2007-11), Blair Academy, USA (2005-7), Brixton TopCats (1998-2004)

Robinson comes off a season split between Sweden and Ukraine where he ended with seven games at Uppsala following a 33-game stint in Kiev. His professional debut came during a brief stint with Greek League outfit Maroussi last autumn before he moved onto Apollon Limassol of Cyprus. It followed a stellar career at Rider University in New Jersey, USA, where he started all but two games during his spell there, captaining the team in his final year and scoring over 1000 points.

Prior to that he attended Blair Academy in New Jersey, a preparatory school previously attended by GB team-mate Luol Deng. However his career began at the age of nine at Brixton TopCats in London.

Personal:

His proudest moment in basketball was having his mother Eileen attend his final home game at Rider. His favourite Olympic memory is seeing athlete Usain Bolt win the 100m and 200m double in Beijing.

Trivia:

Justin cites Brixton coaches Jimmy Rogers and Jabber Kasim as “probably the most influential sporting people in my life so far.”
